We Believe

We believe that God's love extends to everyone and that he wants to help and guide us. God cares so much about us that he sent his only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world. Jesus came to show us what God is like and he died on the Cross for us. This was necessary because all of us have failed to live our lives the way we should and have let God and ourselves down. In an amazing way Jesus' death, and his resurrection to new life, put right the broken relationship between us and God.

A Christian is someone who has accepted their own shortcomings and who realises what Jesus has done for them. They have asked God to forgive them and to be with them to help them, day by day. We believe that this has made a great deal of difference to our lives. Through prayer we can get to know God better, ask his help, give him our thanks and discover his plan for each of our lives.
